Full description

1987 or before. Originally given as 'found in general area of Fishpond Shubbery' (wood at 395 262).
Details of finding not known.
Lead shield-shaped weight; hole through point. One face with relief device of Latin cross, the corners expanded into round knobs. 70mm long, 50mm maximum width, 20mm thick, very heavy.
Information from [1] who was given it by occupant of bungalow in Fishpond Shrubbery who had it from someone else. E. Rose (NAU), 1 July 1987.
