Full description

January 1986. Hales Survey, Heckingham site 31.
Winter cereal, good conditions.
Field divided into west and east portions by finds, but division not marked on plan.

'East'.
One scraper, one core, one slight retouched shatter piece, six flakes.
Five possible Roman greyware.
Eleven medieval unglazed.
Five post medieval.

'West'.
One well flaked slug knife, one scraper, thirteen flakes some with slight retouch, one shatter piece.
One probable Roman greyware.
Fourteen medieval unglazed and one glazed.
Thirteen post medieval.
