THE NAU EVALUATION PREVIOUSLY RECORDED UNDER THIS NUMBER IS NOW RECORDED UNDER NHER 58769.

15 April 1985. Fieldwalking.
Fieldwork by J.J. Wymer (NAU) in advance of proposed gravel quarrying. Ploughed fields on north side of Stonehouse Farm walked. Blown sand terrain and good conditions for searching but a small number of flints found at this site were the only artefacts to be found. These comprised:
1 Mesolithic small blade, broken and patinated.
6 undatable prehistoric unpatinated flakes.
Donated to the Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 1986.73).
