Full description

December 1980 approximately. In edge of parkland just north of road. Metal detecting.
9th century brooch. Bronze, 2.8cm diameter. Incised decoration - animal bending over its back, double circle for eye and two dittos on body. Loan to KLM, via [1].

Marked on NCM map (S3) further northeast at [2], but KLM map marking (S4) was made by finder.

Part of large scatter NHER 29913.
