Full description

On (S1) 'Earthworks, ?barrows - this area around late 1940s'.

October 1977. visit.
This area is now thickly overgrown with trees and bushes, and though it appears there may be mounds, nothing can be made out.
E. Rose (NAU).

A. Lawson (NAU) believes these mounds may be gravel dumps. He suggests the barrows were quarried away.
