Summary

Metal detecting recovered objects dating from the Roman, Early Saxon, medieval and post medieval period. Roman coins were found. An Early Saxon copper alloy cylinder with incised decoration probably comes from a necklace or was used as a bucket pendant. A medieval mount with a heraldic decoration was also recorded.

June 1982. Found with metal detector.
Roman coin. Bronze AE of Constans or Constantius AD 348 to 350.
Reverse: phoenix FEL TEMP REPARATIO.
