Full description
March 1982. Found on surface of field.
On low mound of light sandy soil in peaty field in river valley. Now ploughed for first time in memory. Scatter of material all over top of mound, around 50m diameter.
West Harling type rim sherd.
One Roman coarse rim sherd.
One sherd of Stamford ware.
One Ipswich ware base sherd.
Large quantities of developed medieval sherds.
