Summary
Metal detecting has recovered three Early Saxon brooches, a 13th century buckle, a 16th century hooked tag and part of an early post medieval official lead weight. Roman and post medieval coins have also been found. Cropmarks previously recorded as part of this site are now recorded separately as NHER 49530-1.

Florid cruciform sideplate and cruciform small-long or cruciform brooch, bow and foot missing.

Early Saxon small-long brooch head-plate and bow stamped half-annulets (double) and central dot-in-circle. Iron on reverse around lug.
Early post medieval part of lead official weight, stamped and crowned ER for Elizabeth I. Badly cast and so defaced or chopped up for reuse.

Cropmarks previously recorded still visible, although quite faint in places, probably due to the the underlying geology. Also the trackway continues into the field to the east (heading in the direction of Holverston Hall).
In addition to these, cropmarks of a rectilinear enclosure can be seen just to the south of (and possibly adjoining) the trackway, at National Grid Reference [1].
