Summary

This brick and tile works is marked on Ordnance Survey maps in the 19th century, but by 1953 only a pit and a well were recorded. Several pit features which appear to be recent in origin are visible on aerial photographs from 1946 directly to the north east.

Full description

Northeast of Hill Harling.
Site of brick and tile works.
Marked on (S1) and (S2). Only a pit and a well on 1953 (S3).

January 2010. Norfolk NMP.
Several pit features are visible as cropmarks to the north-east of this site on aerial photographs (S4), centred on TM 0042 8549. They have not been mapped as they appear to be recent features, but may relate to the brick and tile works.
