Name:Meadow House site of Old Hall, Barsham

Summary

Meadow House is on the site of an earlier building that burned down in 1815. This early building was reported to be a Jacobean hall, and much of the building material, including the south gable wall, was reused in Meadow House which was built before 1845. The house was renovated and extended in 1984.

Full description

Remnants of hall burnt down 1815, said to have been Jacobean, reused in small house rebuilt before 1845. Much altered 1984.
