Summary

A Palaeolithic flint handaxe and a Neolithic flint blade were found here during fieldwalking in 1978. Later metal detecting recovered a Roman 1st century AD dolphin type brooch and eight Roman coins.

Full description

1978. Fieldwalking.
Found on ploughed surface by [1]:
1 undatable prehistoric flint blade.
1 Palaeolithic small ovate flint handaxe.
These finds were donated to the Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 1978.463).
Information from (S1). The handaxe is also noted on (S2) and in (S3), (S4) and (S5), although no additional information is given.
