Summary

This windmill is marked on Faden's map of Norfolk made in 1797. It was called 'almost new' in 1779. Nothing can be seen on the site that is now a playing field. A Beaker period or Bronze Age flint dagger or axe fragment was found here whilst clearing stones from the playing field.

Approximate site of wind mill marked on (S1). No trace in flat playing field.

Found in this approximate area "whilst clearing stones from playing field":
1 ?Late Bronze Age/Early Bronze Age broken butt section of flint dagger or thin axe, maximum 76x52mm, green flint, very finely worked, almost flat surfaced. See outline sketch (S2).
