Summary

This World War Two decoy airfield K used dummy Blenheim aircraft and flare paths to trick enemy planes and protect RAF West Raynham between 1939 and 1945. There are also records of a Q25a World War Two decoy at Fulmodeston although its location is unknown. It may have been confused with this site.

Full description

Decoy airfield K for West Raynham 1939 to 1945. Dummy Blenheims used, and flare paths.
Information from Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum.

(S1) also states there was a Q25a decoy at Fulmodeston, the site of which is unknown. Same site?

It is stated locally that a barn at Croxton Farm (NHER 30280) was destroyed by bombs meant for the decoy, and that the 1930s council houses at TF 9847 3110 were damaged in this way.
