Summary

Fieldwalking recovered a Beaker period barbed and tanged arrowhead, prehistoric worked flints and much 18th to 19th century pottery and clay lump and roof tiles. The pottery, clay lumps and roof tiles come from the site of some 18th to 19th century cottages.

Full description

22 October 1977.
One hour of fieldwalking on weathered ploughsoil, clay with patches of gravel.
Produced a tanged arrowhead, worked flints, and much 18th to 19th century pottery on the site of cottages built of clay lump mixed with tiles. Soilmarks faintly visible.
