Summary

A hexagonal pill box, constructed of concrete blocks with a door to the east is present on this site. An RAF air photograph shows an anti-aircraft battery to the southeast, with two small circular structures and one larger. Other smaller features may include a machine gun emplacement.

1976. Site visit.
At junction of field boundaries northeast of old pit. Pill box.
Hexagonal, of concrete blocks, with door to east having a small loophole beside it.
