Full description

Moat (Ordnance Survey card).

5 June 1980.Visit.
West, south and east sides all remain, wet. East side widest - becomes pond at north end - but all arms wide.
North side would be under the farm drive.
Old trees grow from sides of moat.
Footbridge on east has gone and that on south is really a pipe.
House probably basically 18th century.

House is in fact Listed as 17th century (see (S1)), but description, and exterior, do not suggest any archaeological interest.
E. Rose (NAU) 5th June 1980.
