Full description

From Aldeby brick pit.
Large polished flint axe with white patina, 'chipped on both sides'.
Possible location is old disused pits at 461 933.
E. Rose (NAU) 1 March 1978.

According to F. Healy (NAU), CUMAE registration number also includes ?unfinished laurel leaf, ? barbed and tanged arrowhead, and a fragment of polished axe with squared sides, though only axe mentioned above is marked as from Aldeby brick pit.
