A scatter of medieval pottery was found in 1968. It is also worth noting that this is one of only two known sites in Norfolk where the medieval herb Danewort grows.

Surface scatter of pottery in Kirstead (Ordnance Survey 94) and Seething (Ordnance Survey 167-8).

August 1980.
Source [1] notes that a medieval herb, Danewort (sambricus ebulus) grows on this site; it has only been reported elsewhere in Norfolk at Binham Priory.
