Name:Roman settlement and huge Roman object scatter

Summary

A huge number of Roman objects have been recovered from this field over the period 1969-2000. Large numbers of coins and pottery sherds have been found along with numerous brooches, bracelets, tiles, pins, toilet and cosmetic implements. This dense scatter of artefacts clearly demonstrate that some sort of Roman settlement was located here.
