Full description

January 1976. Visit.
Windmill.
Tower mill. Brick tower survives, battered, but wooden floors and beams in interior in good condition. No machinery. Small fireplace on ground floor, which is about 4.3m (14 feet) wide, narrow for a mill. Remains of millstone buried outside door. Outside to west an underground brick culvert, part of top collapsed, leads to stream; remains of structure above it, and mill tower is flattened at base at this point.
Yet it is a mill and not a drainage pump.
