Summary

Metal detecting from 1995 to the present day has recovered a number of objects from the Roman to post medieval periods, as well as a Lower Palaeolithic handaxe. Objects include a Roman dagger or knife pommel, a Late Saxon strap fitting, a medieval silver finger ring and fragment of censer cover and a post medieval coin.
