Walls of medieval and later date forming the western and southern boundaries of the churchyard of St Mary's Church (NHER 11005). These wall are mainly flint and brick, unlike the northern and eastern walls which mostly red brick and of later date (NHERs 63222 and 63227)

June 1972. Listed, Grade II.
Listing Description Excerpt:
"Churchyard walls of St Mary's Church.
Medieval and later. Walls on west and south mainly flint and brick with massive stone cope, walls on north and east mainly red brick."

Contrary to the impression given by the listing description the red brick east and north walls were actually listed separately. The north wall, which forms the boundary with the Saracen's Head (NHER 25623) is now recorded as NHER 63222 and the east wall, which forms the boundary with 1 Church Street (NHER 40872) is recorded as NHER 63227.
