A Mesolithic flaked flint tranchet axehead was recovered at this spot in 1970. An undated copper alloy mould was found here in 1986.

1970. Stray Find.
Found on surface by [1]:
1 Mesolithic chipped flint axe/adze. Donated to Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 1971.49).
Information from (S1). First reported in (S2) and listed a non-tranchet axehead in (S3). This object is however described in (S4) as a Norfolk type adze with a tranchet blow on its dorsal surface.
