Summary

The nave is early Norman, with a 14th century door and windows and a 15th century south aisle. The round tower may be late 11th to 14th century in date and was refaced in 1896, when the nave and chancel roof was also replaced. A school house was added in 1835. The chancel was rebuilt in 1875.

Round tower, possibly Saxo-Norman, postdating nave.
Nave windows 14th century. South aisle 15th century. South porch 17th century? Chancel 1875 with Sunday School of 1835 attached.

More detailed inspection suggests that the nave is early Norman; the relationship of the base of the round tower is unclear, but it was remodelled in about 1300. 14th century north nave door and window; aisle is probably all of 1440’s either retaining Decorated traits or reusing some windows. One 15th century north window. Sunday school added 1835, chancel mostly rebuilt 1875, roof replaced and tower refaced 1896. Base of rood screen. Some unusual pews. Very fine brass of donor of aisle.
