Full description

1975. Stray Find.
Found by R. Jacobi:
1 Mesolithic flint core. Reported by finder, but not seen. Information from (S1).
This is probably the conical blade core listed in Jacobi's records (S2) which is described as having been found on the "grass verge outside 'The Hedges', West Runton" (The Hedges was the house formerly occupied by J. E. Sainty). It is noted that this object was given to the Norwich Castle Museum, although it does not appear to be amongst the accessioned finds from Runton.
Amended by P. Watkins (HES), 17 July 2014.
