Summary

Human remains, probably disturbed burials, were found in 1968 in a field just to the east of St Ethelbert's Church (NHER 6002). Medieval pottery fragments and part of a medieval millstone had been found in the area previously, and form part of a large scatter.

1968. Human skeletal remains found in field just east of St Ethelbert's Church; probably disturbed burials. Also mortar fragments.

1965. Surface finds. Part of millstone ?Grimston ware. 91.4m (100 yards) southeast of St Ethelbert's Church.
B. Beeby (NCM).
