The building is of brick, flint and rubble, and is partly whitewashed with a steeply-pitched reed-thatched roof. There are irregular windows with 19th and 20th century casements, and an off-centre entrance door and chimney stack.

Rivercroft Cottage, Beech Road.
House, 17th century and later. Gable wall tie dated 1670. Brick, flint and rubble, partly whitewashed. Steeply-pitched reed-thatched roof. Two storeys. Irregular fenestration with 19th and 20th century casements. Off-centre entrance door and chimney stack. Parapeted west gable. Two single-storey pantiled wings on east side.
