A World War tank trap survives here. It takes the form of concrete sockets between railway lines which would have supported upright iron girders. It has been decided that this structure is best off being preserved in situ.

Tank trap, in form of concrete sockets between railway lines which would have supported upright iron girders.
Dates to World War Two. To be preserved in situ. Compare NHER 40312 etc. for similar examples. For railway itself see NHER 13584.
