Summary

The Roman pottery, roof tile and Roman metalwork found by fieldwalking and metal detecting on this site suggest that this is part of the Roman settlement discovered in this area, see NHER 30030. Prehistoric pottery as well as Iron Age, Roman, medieval and post medieval metalwork has also been found on the site.

March to May 2005. Metal detecting and fieldwalking, partly systematic.
Roman sherds, tile and metal objects, a continuation of the field to the east.
