July 2005. Norfolk NMP.
A possible World War Two bomb crater is visible on contemporary aerial photographs (S1). The crater is located on marshland to the southwest of Elm Farm, West Caister at TG 5084 1102. It has a diameter of 13m. The absence of any earth around the crater suggests that it had been present for some time prior to the date of the aerial photograph in July 1944.
