Full description

Old kiln. Marked on 6in Ordnance Survey of 1953.
E. Rose (NAU).

24 June 1993.
No structural remains of kiln. Deep pits along north field boundary overgrown with nettles might conceal evidence. To
south, bare or stunted patch 15m (50ft) across in pea field contains one large yellow brick or slab and many brick fragments - but latter might only derive from manuring.
E. Rose (NLA) 25 June 1993.
