Summary

Metal-detecting in 2005 and 2014 recovered a probable Middle Palaeolithic small flint biface, Late Iron Age, medieval and post-medieval coins and ?Roman and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a ?Roman unidentified copper alloy object; medieval and medieval/post-medieval buckles and a post-medieval harness mount, rowel spur and weight. A scatter of prehistoric burnt flints was also noted.
