10m to the south of the peat and silt exposure (Context 571, NHER 37324).
An Upper Palaeolithic or Mesolithic crested flint blade was found loose on the beach. The black patina of the flint may indicate that it originally came from the intercalated peat exposure or from buried Lower peat deposits.
See assessment report (S1) for further details.
The associated archive has been deposited with the Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 2017.421).
