Summary

This two storey 17th century timber-framed house has a northern end faced in 18th century brick. The windows date to the 18th or 19th century, and there is a black glazed pantile roof and offcentre chimney stack. The tithe map of 1843 shows a stream carried round the house, and this may indicate that a moat surrounded the building.
