Full description
October 2004. Norfolk NMP.
A group of World War Two weapons pits and slit trenches, possibly a military training site, is visible on aerial photographs (S1-2). These remains are centred on TG 31773055. Two weapons pits and two slit trenches are visible on 1946 RAF aerial photographs. Some of these features are still visible on 1968 aerial photographs (S2). It is likely that this site is related to other possible training areas to the west and south (NHER 38820, 38822) and the camp to the southwest (NHER 38819).
