Full description

April 2002. Norfolk NMP.
A circular mound is visible to immediate south of railway line on 1946 RAF aerial photographs (S1). It appears to be cut by the line of track to the south. It is 22m in diameter and is surrounded by a ditch approximately 1m wide. This may be a Bronze Age round barrow, although it is possible that it is a later feature. This may be the ring ditch referred to in NHER 16486 (NMR TF 63NE 51) and located incorrectly on the map, however they may be two different monuments.
S. Massey (NMP), 23 April 2002.
