The metal finds include a Late Iron Age/Roman harness fitting or terret ring; a Roman figurine, furniture fitting, and finger ring; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; a medieval harness mount and harness pendant; medieval/post-medieval copper alloy vessel fragments; a post-medieval crotal bell, finger ring, and a sword belt fitting.

Full description

May-June 2003. Metal-detecting. Somewhere in large field containing NHER 11864.
1 Roman finely hollow-cast fragment (40 x 40mm) of copper alloy lion mask ?mount or ?large figurine (nicely modelled snout, part of cheek and eye).
