Summary

Metal detecting between 2001 and 2003 recovered possible Mesolithic worked flints; medieval and post-medieval coins; post-medieval tokens and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a medieval buckle and lead bust of Christ (possibly from either a weight or a figurine); a medieval/post-medieval copper alloy cauldron fragment and a post-medieval book clasp and dress hook.

2001 and January 2002. Metal-detecting. Finder's Field T1.
1 ?Mesolithic notched flint flake and 1 retouched flake.
1 medieval buckle and 1 lead bust of Christ (possibly a weight or part of a figurine).
2 post-medieval tokens, 1 book clasp, 1 dress hook and 1 lead disc.

1 medieval/post-medieval copper alloy cast cauldron leg fragment. Fragment of cast cauldron leg, rectangular section (22x15mm) tapering in thickness but widening to sharp terminal (30mm). 14th-16th century.
1 post-medieval coin.
