Metal detecting in this area during 2002 recovered a variety of medieval and post medieval metal objects. Finds of note included part of a medieval lead ampullla, a medieval binding strap from a casket and a late medieval French jetton.

Full description

March 2002. Metal-detecting. NMD club rally in field containing NHER 25105 and 32299.
1 medieval jetton, 1 buckle plate (gilt), 1 ?clasp plate (gilt), 1 lead ampulla and 1 buckle frame.
1 Post-medieval jetton and 1 buckle frame.
