Full description

1954/5. Following a storm, two dark soil-filled features exposed in clay in section at back of beach.
Finder and another recovered 206 coins from beach below these features.
Description indicates that these were Gallo-Belgic E (uniface) type.
Finder retains one stater and one quarter stater. Rest sold. There may have been other quarters amongst the 206.
