A rapid identification survey carried out between 2000 and 2002 identified a parish boundary bank as a low feature in the grassland to the east of this area. The western woodland boundary is more substantial.

2000-2002. Woodland Earthwork Rapid Identification Survey.
Broom Covert and Little Plantation. Management Unit L1, Site 120:
Parish boundary bank, only a low feature in the grassland to the east. The western woodland boundary is more substantial.
