Metal-detecting between 2002 and 2019 recovered a Roman and medieval coins; as well as Roman, Late Saxon and medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a Roman mirror fragment; a Late Saxon bead or an attachment from a censer; and a medieval vessel foot.

Full description

Before 8 January 2002. Metal detecting. I & RS E10329. [1]
Medieval rather coarsely cast foot from a vessel, length 55mm, sub-square section 15 x 15mm. The paw is an offset and roughly rounded pad. Set at an angle its height is 50mm. Two small projections from the edge of the top would probably have joined with the body of the vessel.
