Full description

February 2001. Metal detecting.
Medieval gold finger ring, diameter 23mm.
Stone missing from setting in triangular bezel. Two transverse lines at base (very worn) with cast decoration of two pairs of leaves on each side running around band to stop at shoulders.
Weight 2.60g.
?13th century.
Broadly similar to example in (S1), page 484, number 646.
Retained for consideration on treasure trove - see (S2).
