Summary
Metal detecting at this location in 2000 recovered a large quantity of multi period metal objects. Finds included part of a trianglular Saxon spangle, a medieval buckle frame formed from animal heads grasping a central moulding and an early post medieval book clasp.

January-May 2000. Metal detecting.
Roman - twenty-six coins, acorn shaped terminal.
Early Saxon - spangle.
Late Saxon - copper alloy ingot, strap end (S1 and S2)
Middle Saxon - barb spring padlock.
Medieval - fourteen metal objects.
Late medieval/post medieval seventeen metal objects.
Undated - three metal objects.
