Summary

Sporadic metal-detecting between 1998 and 2015 recovered medieval pottery sherds; Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; a post-medieval token and jetton and Roman and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a Roman seal box lid and handle or lock pin; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; medieval seal matrices, trade weights, a purse frame fragment, copper alloy bead, copper alloy vessel rim and a very fine gold finger ring; a medieval/post-medieval thimble and a post-medieval foot from a tea caddy, clock or similar.
