Summary

Fieldwalking and metal detecting during pipe laying works in 1997 recovered prehistoric flints and fragments of post medieval pottery. Metal-detecting in 2010 recovered a post-medieval silver cuff link.

Full description

January-April 1997. Systematic Fieldwalking and Metal-detecting Survey.
Field survey on proposed route of Bacton to Great Yarmouth pipeline (Field/Location RDX 26.2).
A pot boiler and 8 prehistoric flints including flakes, retouched flakes and struck fragments were recovered along with three post medieval sherds.
