Summary

In 1997 prehistoric flint flakes and pot boilers, medieval pottery, post medieval tile and a post medieval token were found during fieldwalking and metal detecting along the line of the Bacton to Great Yarmouth pipeline.

Full description

January-April 1997. Systematic Fieldwalking and Metal-detecting Survey.
Field survey on proposed route of Bacton to Great Yarmouth pipeline (Field/Location RDX 8.2).
Two pot boilers, three retouched flakes, a medieval pottery sherd, post medieval tile, and a 17th century trade token were recovered. Metal detecting also yielded three undated items.
