Full description

1997. Metal detecting.
Medieval and post medieval coin.
See list in file.
Medieval belt fitting (S1).
Medieval/post medieval silver seal matrix (S2).
Post medieval lead powder charge cap and lead palm guard.
V. Fryer (NCM), 3 June 1997.

January 1998. Metal detecting.
One post medieval token.
Medieval fragment of a spur side, flat and narrow which runs up to a double riveted terminal. The side joins the terminal on one of the riveted plates, so it would probably originally have curved under the ankle bone of the wearer. The rivets are big and chunky; riveted terminals are usually only found on prick spurs, which tend to be pre 14th century, but offset terminals tend to be later medieval. This may be a rare type. (S1).
Two medieval suspension rings.
See lists in file.
K. Sussams (NCM), 3 February 1998.

January/February 2006. Metal detecting.
One Roman coin.
See lists in file with grid reference.
A. Rogerson (NLA), 19 March 2006.
