Summary

Metal-detecting between 1996 and 2019 recovered Middle Saxon, Late Saxon/medieval and medieval pottery sherds; Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins, jettons and a token; and Roman, Early Saxon, Middle Saxon, medieval, medieval/post-medieval and post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a Roman brooch; Early Saxon brooch and brooch fragments; Middle/Late Saxon brooch; Middle Saxon to medieval hooked tag; Late Saxon/medieval vessel fragment; Late Saxon/post-medieval spindle whorl; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; medieval mirror case, mount, and harness pendant; medieval/post-medieval horse harness mount, strap-end, seal matrix, and thimble; and post-medieval harness mounts, a spur fragment, a weight, book fitting mount and a cloth seal.

1996. Metal detector finds. [1].
Two 4th century coins.
Three medieval coins.

Said to have been another eighteen coins found!
One Roman brooch.
Sub-circular mount with two attachment shanks on back and two projecting terminals, one is plain, the other has decoration of notched sides between transverse grooves. Decorative horse harness mounts probably. Late medieval or early post-medieval. Polaroid in file.
