Set in an isolated position to the east of the village in the valley of a stream, this is an early 18th century two storey timber framed house with clay lump and wattle and daub infill and later extensions and alterations. The building contains many re-used 17th century or earlier timbers.

May 1984. Listed, Grade II.
Listing Description Excerpt:
"House. Early 18th century. Timber framed with rendered clay lump and wattle and daub infill. Roof of corrugated tiles at front, pantiles at rear. Lobby entrance plan. Two storeys with single bay pantiled two storeyed extension to right. 20th century gabled porch."

Timber framed house, three cell with off-centre stack, two storeys and attic. Later extensions. Contains many reused timbers of 17th century or earlier date, but appears to be of early 18th century construction. A somewhat grand squatters' house?
